Letter from the editorSilenced HolocaustWhat’s inside?
In 1973 the Supreme Court decided that through abortion unborn babies could be killed atany time. Everyday 4,000 babies are killed in this country.
Abortion is real; we all know that but i we really understood that these are real childrenonly smaller and younger then why are we not doing anything? Why are the lives o theseinnocent children ignored?
Most o us have not seen abortion with our own eyes. We
haven’t heard their cries because they have been silenced. Wedon’t get to hold the victims because they are dead. Unlikemost holocausts we do not have survivors to bring in and tellus their stories.
God has called us to be a light and stand up or those whodon’t have a voice o their own. Who is going to be that voicei not us, the church? God is the creator o everybody. He hascreated each o us in his image.

Two years ago Abby
Johnson was the
director of one of the largest Planned Parenthood
clinics in the U.S. now she is a pro-life advocate. In 2008
she had been employee of the year at Planned Parenthood
now she is revealing Planned Parenthood’s secret: aboronis a cash business.
On March 22, 2011 Abby Johnson, author of the best-
selling book Unplanned, spoke at the INB Performing Arts
Center in Spokane, Washington. According to the event’s
MC Susan Meyer, CEO of Spokane Transit Authority, the
purpose of this event was to seek truth and present the
consequences of “choice”.
In accordance with this purpose to seek truth, the event
started o by showing two videos that represent contrast -
ing perspecves on the issue of reproducve health. The
rst video, “My Planned Parenthood”presented the views of Planned
Parenthood employees and other
supporters who believe that PlannedParenthood is the only source of
healthcare for low income women.
The second video was the trailer for
the documentary lm, Blood Money, which declared to be a shocking
portrayal of the “inconvenient truth
of aboron”. One of the women inthe video describes aboron as the
“ulmate exploitaon of women” andanother woman stated that “concep-
on marks the beginning of life”.When Johnson then takes the
stage aer a standing ovaon, she
begins with stang, “Aboron in this
country is graphic, aboron is murder, aboron is disgusng.”
Johnson began her story stangthat she was raised by “ultra conser-
vave parents” who were pro-life and in high school she
would describe herself as being against aboron. Whenshe was 20 years old and in college she found herself preg-
nant and her mind was blank, she said.
Aer working at Planned Parenthood for eight years
her life changed in a way that she never thought it would.Since beginning her career at Planned Parenthood she had
wondered if she was desned to hell and had hoped that
she wouldn’t die unl aer she had rered.Planned Parenthood has two budgets: family planning
and aboron, said Johnson. One day as she was looking at
the budgets she noced that the quota for aborons to beperformed had doubled and she thought that is must be
an error because she believed that Planned Parenthood
truly wanted to reduce aborons. When she pointed thisout to her supervisor she was told that her priority needed
to be aboron because that is where the money is.
In September of 20
Johnson was asked to
a vising doctor with an ultrasound guided aboroa 13 week fetus. At this point, every internal organ
formed and Johnson said that she had ashbacks t
own daughter’s ultrasound. During the aboron pdure Johnson said that she saw the baby get poked

ay and night, sleet or snow, people are praying in front
f hundreds of aboron facilies across the country. Fortyays for life began in 2007, coordinang prayer vigils
wice a year in 337 U.S. cies. Parcipants in these prayergils have reported 3,599 lives saved as a result of their
resence in front of aboron centers. Following these
ampaigns nine aboron facilies have completely closedown.
The purpose of these bi-annual campaigns is to unite
pro-lifers to praying and fasng for an end to aboronfocusing on their communies. According to their website,“The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body
of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day cam-
paign of prayer, fasng, and peaceful acvism, with thepurpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts
and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus
bringing an end to aboron in America.”
The next campaign takes place during lent which beginson March 9 and ends forty days later on April 17th. This
me there will be a campaign in North Seale at thePlanned Parenthood near Northgate mall.
