WHAT IS TDL?

• Transportation- represents the physical transportation of goods including the following modes (motor, air, rail, ocean, and pipeline).

• Logistics- part of the supply chain that manages the movement of goods from point of origin to final customer.

• Distribution Center- location where products are received, stored, shipped, and inventoried.

Student Learning Outcomes

Students enrolled in Introduction to Business Logistics classes will be able to:

Demonstrate proficiency in supply chain operations, and utilize appropriate methods to plan and implement processes necessary for the purchase and conveyance of goods in a timely cost-effective manner.

Program offers stackable credentials, allowing students to return over the course of their lifetime to gain marketable degree without credit loss.

Olive-Harvey College will open its doors to a new Transportation, Distribution and Logistics (TDL) Center in the spring of 2016.

The 103,000 square foot facility will be the first comprehensive TDL education center in the state.
