Accessible Buses

Accessible buses

• One wheelchair space on all buses which will accommodate all

standard size wheelchairs

• One buggy space on 50% of buses and on all future purchases

• Wheelchair space may also be used for small mobility scooters

• To travel on Dublin Buses with a mobility scooter a customer must

have a permit which is obtained by contacting the Travel Assist Unit.

Accessible Buses

• If a customer with a rollator or walking frame

wishes to board the bus the driver will lower the

ramp for them and wait until they are seated.

• Customers must not sit on their rollators

• Ramp will be lowered on request

(some customers have hidden disabilities)
