GROUPPROJECT:THETHEATRICALEXPERIENCE:Topassthecourseeachstudentisrequiredtoparticipateinagroupprojectwhereyouwillcreateahypotheticaltheatricalproduction/designportfolio/websiteutilizingtheconceptsofperformanceandtheatrewewillstudythroughoutthesemester.ThemandatoryscheduledWimbaloginswillenableeachgrouptocompletetheproject.Whereadateonthescheduleislabeleda“GroupProjectDay,”yourattendanceandparticipationisessentialnotonlytoyoursuccess,butalsotothesuccessofthegroupasawhole.Youareexpectedtomakeyourcontributiontothegroupprojectonthesedays.Toreceivecredittothegroupprojectgrade(s)eachmembermustmakeasignificantcontributiontotheProjectPortfolio/Websiteandcorrelatinggroupprojectdiscussionboardassignments.Theseportfolios/websiteswillbereviewed&assessedTHREETIMES:oncefortheProductionPitch:Research,Inspiration&BibliographyandthenagainforTheScripts,andlastly,fortheFinalProductionwork(duringthefinalexaminationperiod).TheGroupProjectisworthapproximately25%ofyourgradeintheclass.DetailedinstructionsfortheGroupProjectwillbepostedinVistaintheGROUPRESOURCESMODULEandcoveredinduringthescheduledWIMBALiveClassrooms.X. XII. ATTENDANCEPOLICY:Thisclassisexperiential&collaborative;notmerelyinformational.Ifyoudonotparticipateregularlyandattendthegroupprojectlogins,youwilllosetheexperienceandwhatevermoneyyouhaveinvestedintuition.Yourgradewillalsoreflectyourlackofdevelopmentintheskillsandideasthattheclasspromotes.
