L.P. GAS CYLINDER

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

TOYOTA LANDCRUISER – 100 SERIES (6 CYL ONLY)

260dia Twin Endfill Cylinders

This Automotive LP Gas cylinder must be installed in the vehicle in strict accordance with the latest requirements of

AS/NZS1425.

General Cylinder Specifications: (2 cylinders per vehicle)

DIAMETER : 260mm LENGTH : 900mm

WATER CAPACITY : 43L L.P GAS CAPACITY : 34.4L

VALVE ORIENTATION : Endfill

Installation:

1). Install the filler and filler hoses to the vehicle as directed.

2). Place vehicle on hoist and remove the front 3). Fit the attachment brackets supplied by

4). Fit the brass ‘T’ piece supplied with the filler 5). Jack the left hand cylinder into position

relief valve location when determining the main chassis. Ensure the valve is facing to

left hand cylinder. Fit the 90deg brass elbow the REAR of the vehicle.

6). Included with the cylinder is a bolt pack 7). Bolt the cylinder to the side of the chassis

containing bolts, washers, nyloc nuts, placing the crush tube between the cylinder

crush tubes and powder coated backing plates. bracket and the backing plates

not making contact with either the chassis or

the floor pan of the vehicle. Repeat steps

5 – 8 for right hand cylinder

9). Connect the filler hoses to the cylinders as per AS/NZ1425 requirements

Do not remove the valves without authorisation from Manchester Tank.
