TheoriginoftheRoyalResidencesofSavoydatesbacktothesecondhalfof1500s,whenEmmanuelPhilibert,DukeofSavoymovedhiscapitalcitytoTurin,commissioningtherehashofancientcastlesandthebuildingofnewresidencesalongthegreatgreenareasurroundingthecity.ThesystemoftheRoyalResidencesreacheditsperiodofgrandeurbetweentheXVIIandtheXVIIIcentury,thankstotheestablishmentofwhatAmedeodiCastellamontecalledCoronadidelizie(CrownofDelights),aparticularsystemcomposedbypalaces,vineyards,housesandcastles,royalresidencesrepresentingthestyleandthepoweroftheSavoy.Amongthese,thereare:PalazzoReale,VilladellaRegina,CastleofRacconigi,CastleofRivoli,CastleofAgliè,ReggiadiVenariaRealeandthePalazzinadiCacciaofStupinigi.

“Royaltastings”offersatourofsomeoftheresidencescomposingtheCrownofDelights,fromanewand“tasty”pointofview,involvinghistoryandart,aswellasflavoursandfragrances;theguidesofCulturalWaywillleadthevisitorsinatourgivingthemtheopportunitytolivetheatmosphereoftheroyalpast,tastingancientflavours.Thepackageincludestastingitinerariesoftraditionalproductsthatwillbeconsumedinsidethemuseumroomschosenforthetourandinsidesomefarmsteadsandwinehousesaswell.Therearetwokindsofprogramsthatvisitorscanchoose:1dayor4days,includingthesojourninTurin.
