Focus on the passenger
Knowledge about the passengers’• status• waiting times• timeliness at the gate
Consideration of• costs• landside/airside dependencies• performance

PaxMan - the Passenger Manager
Main functionality:• Monitoring and assessment of passenger processes• Decision support for resource management• Measurability of landside system performance & costs• Prediction of passengers’ readiness at the gate• TOBT-coordination with TMAN
Main tool to synchronize and harmonize airside and landside operations in TAMS

Airside / landside synchronisation
A combination of actual and forecast information determine different achievable TOBTs for landside, airside and turnaround logistics
these TOBTs are analysed to compute a jointly agreed TOBT
This joint TOBT is then inherited in the AOP until system changes or flight updates induce a new forecast

Forecast
Fast prediction of EPGT(Estimated Pax at Gate Time)
Based on System DynamicsInput: actual situation and commonly agreed AOPtriggered by • system changes (e.g. TOBT updates) or
• What-If requests
Performance: whole day of operations in 90 sec

Benefits of landside integration
Synchronised processes throughout the airportKPI-based resource management to increase efficiencyIn a simulated bottleneck-scenario • overall punctuality could be improved,
• the number of transported passengers could be increased
• without increasing resource costs
Improved passenger comfort
