Descriptions and Configuration
Telephone Meeting and Appointment Management Allows users to accept or decline meeting requests
created in Outlook or G-mail over the phone or via WebClient.
When a user checks their messages, it will show this message as a meeting request. On the phone, a new number of Meeting Requests is played.
Ex. “You have 3 new voice messages, 2 new meeting requests”
Meetings can be accepted over the phone and UC Location set for the duration such as “In Meeting and Unavailable”
In WebClient, a new icon indicates a meeting request and new options to accept
Requires MS Exchange or Google G-mail synchronization configured
Accept Meeting Requests from Phone and WebClient Example1) Create meeting
request in Outlook or Gmail
2) Invitees on TOL receive new Meeting Request
3) Invitee dials into mailbox, accepts meeting
4) Meeting organizer informed of acceptance
Alternate ID
Allows single mailbox to support additional number IDs (employee number, etc.)
Messages to alternate ID appear in main mailbox
Configured by Administrator in Mailbox Properties Addresses Alternate ID checkbox for new or existing number
Enhanced Call Control (External)
Empowers users to have call control while using an external number from home or mobile device
Extend desk phone functionality and capabilities such as placing calls on hold and transfers to internal office extension numbers for mobile users.
Enabled in Admin under Feature Group Transfer Options Enhanced Call Control
Ex. John’s location is set to an external number with call control enabled, when he receives a call via TOL he can press ** on his phone and hear a list of call control functions
‘Ding’ sound upon answering to indicate Enhanced Call Control is available, press ** in call to use
Enhanced Call Control (Handoff) Call Handoff allows seamless transfer of a
current ongoing phone call at your desk to another device (e.g. cell phone, another station, etc.) without any interruption
Enabled in Admin, Feature Group Transfer Options Enchanced Call Control
Controlled via UC Client Manager ‘Handoff’ button
Customized Envelope Information The Envelope Information TUI
setting can determine how much information is heard for the time/date stamp on a messageduring playback.
Fields that can be optionally heard include: Message From, Received Time, Recipients, and Special tags (Private, Certified, Urgent).
Configured in Admin under Customized TUI in Message Playback and Envelope Information menu items
