You are now an important part of The North Face brand! You were chosen specifically to be one of our Locals because of your influence in our brand's community.

Welcome to The North Face Locals

We want to reward you for embodying the spirit of Never Stop Exploring by giving you exclusive access to gear, athletes and experiences.

All we ask is that you keep doing what you're doing - keep exploring, sharing, and posting about your outdoor experiences.

This training is to make sure that your voice remains authentic while still

making it known to friends and followers that you are a part of #TNFLocals.

About Incentivized Campaigns

A discount/gift/free product/an opportunity to win a prize is offered

You will have a certain time period to complete the campaign

You will need to follow appropriate guidelines when posting content

Incentivized Campaign (Upcoming)

THERMOBALL PRODUCT LAUNCH

You will receive a free Thermoball Jacket, and you will be asked to share your product review.

Posting for Incentivized CampaignsUse #TNFLocals for each post

Use #AMBSDR for each post

Use the campaign specific hashtag for each post to track and reward your activity

No offer of free gift/product/reward/an opportunity to win a prize

You will have a certain time period to complete the campaign

You will need to follow the appropriate guidelines when posting content

Twitter, and Email.

GENERAL POSTING GUIDELINES

Be Truthful

Please do not develop your own claims about the products and their benefits unless they are

based on your own personal experience and express your own opinions. Otherwise, please only repeat product descriptions given to you

by The North Face.

Do not post materials that are obscene, libelous, hateful, illegal, in violation of a third

party’s rights, or are harmful.

Use Good Judgment and Be Respectful

Clearly disclose your connection to The North Face every time you speak, write, or convey a message about The North Face products or competitor products.

•Disclosures must be easy to view and read (in a font size and color that is readable and conspicuous, not hidden deep in the page);

•Be truthful about the content and statements you make; and

•Add #TNFLocals and #AMBSDR (if you are posting for incentivized campaigns)
