Frequently Asked Q&A

What is the minimum number of books that need to be purchased to start a Time for mom-Me group?

We recommend a minimum purchase of 25 books to begin. Moms will form several groups meeting in groups of 4, 5 or even 10 members at a time.

How does the program work?

The TFMM program is a six week guided discussion based on the book, Time For Mom-Me: 5 Essential Strategies for A Mother’s Self-Care. Mother’s that use this program are instructed in this book to download the forms that they need to run a local meeting.

The mom hostess is responsible for her group of mothers and provided both online support as well as provided a hostess hotline to address any specific question related to using the program.

How much does it cost mothers to participate in this program?

The program is FREE to mothers. We ask participating partners to join with us and Reward mothers for taking better care of themselves by purchasing complimentary copies of the book for moms in their community to say Thank you for all that moms do.

What is the best way to support a TFMM group in my store?

We ask our hostesses to attempt to reserve seating for their meetings each week. Reserved seating is helpful. Also, many businesses will provide complimentary refreshments for attendees. We want to reward moms for

taking six weeks out of their lives to take care of themselves.

How long is a TFMM meeting?

We recommend a meeting time of 1.5–2 hours maximum for six meetings.

How often will moms meet?

We recommend that mothers meet weekly, although many groups prefer to meet bi-weekly based on members schedules.

Do children attend the groups?

Each group has different needs and personality. Some of the moms prefer to bring their children with them during their meetings. We offer several suggestions to members that bring children to their discussions to ensure success.

For example:

We suggest that moms who bring children rotate a mom who sits with the children during discussion time. That mom might bring coloring sheets for the children during her week.
