This training not only covers practicing new

concrete behavior skills, but is also geared

toward developing a new conscious perception

toward one’s own and others’ behavior.

Content of the Instruction

• How do I appear to others? What all is a part of this? How do others appear to

me?

• Practicing body language. How close is considered to be comfortable? How do

speech and behavior fit together?

• Exercises in confident and unconfident behavior. What is felt to be aggressive?

• Verbal and non-verbal signals

• When do I have a right to something? When am I dependent upon others’

goodwill? How can I then react? Exercises supporting these everyday life

situations

• Relaxation techniques, roll plays, riddles

Training in Social Skills

Implementation in daily situations

• The participants are the “subject matter”

• Trying out various behavioral possibilities

• Realizing realistic situations out of participants’ daily life

• The group establishes their own group rules

• Parameters: punctuality, behavior during instruction, independence,

work scheduling, feedback from the group
