WELCOME TO AP STATISTICS

Our Motto

What would happen if the fire fighters did not work hard?

What if he doesn’t work hard…?

AP STAT MOUSE

What is misleading here?

What the AP Statistics class covers and how much of each topic is on the test:

I. Exploring Data 20-30%II. Sampling and Experimentation

10-15%III. Anticipating Patterns 20-30%IV. Inference 30-40%

The AP Test now blends the topics so a topic may be covered more than

once on the test!

Expectations: Rich context Formulate and test hypotheses Be willing to discuss what you

are seeing Be willing to be wrong Be precise and communicate

ideas fully Be able to communicate as if

you did not have a calculator at hand
