Tests and Study Guides•Study Guides will be given in advance. Please help your student study these “guides” along and along so that test items are not so daunting.

•Return the guides signed on the day of the test to receive credit for them.

•Tests will be graded and returned to you in a timely manner.

Projects and Rubrics

•For any project your student may be asked to complete this year, they will be given a rubric and instructions in advance.

•Please adhere to this rubric, sign it, return it along with the project on the due date.

•If the rubric or instructions are lost or if it is turned in late, points will be deducted.

Parties/Birthday’s

You are welcome to bring in “goodies” for your child’s birthday. But, please try and do so during our lunch time from 12:05-12:35 so that there is no loss of instructional time.

We do have a peanut allergy in our class this year.

Only store bought items are allowed.Please send enough for all 23 students.

Field Trips

SLED Check are good for two years.SLED checks take about 2 weeks to

process.Please notify me if you would like to

chaperone in advance.

Chromebooks

Each student is assigned a chromebook.

It was stay with them as long as they are at PTH.

Students are responsible for any damages that occur.

Based off of GoogleStudents will conduct research on a topic of their

Parent Conferences

Scheduled conferences will be offered twice a year. Please sign up for our first conference ASAP if you have not done so already. They will begin on September 14th.

If you would like to schedule a conference during the year please let me know in advance.

If you would like to meet, I am available from 10:55-11:35 a.m. and 2:45-4:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
