1

Though you might think you know yourself, understand that you are constantly changing.

Make it a lifelong journey to “know thyself.”

2

If you understand the subtle tricks you play with yourself,

it can steer you like a good sailor avoiding hazards of the sea.

3

Manners exist to make others feel comfortable.

When you sense someone is feeling anxious, pick them up with politeness.

4

No one seeks adversity -

it seeks you. When it finds you, it’s best to have a general game plan.

5

As Joseph Cambell said, “follow your bliss.”It’s wise advice because you’ll be more successful at what gives you bliss.

6

Make it a habit to consciously work on stabilizing your physiology.

Eat well, sleep well, smile more!

7

No one’s brain works perfectly.Accept your quirks like mood issues or short attention spans

and learn to work around them.

8

As a manager, your first priority is to understand human capital.

Learn to deal with the emotions of envy and others

and you’ll notice engagement soar.

9

Have a problem with a coworker or employee?

Take them to lunch or simply talk to them.Acknowledge their good work and put matters on the table, when necessary.

10

Evidence shows that complexity and other viewpoints

lead you to a more accurate assessment of things

than you can have yourself.

Open your mind!
