Although many people believe that pitbulls are aggressive toward humans, it's not necessarily true. Pitbulls were originally developed for fighting with other dogs, however, they weren't trained to be aggressive towards people.

Believe it or not, the term "bully" doesn't refer to their behavior, but the fact that they're descendants of the original baiting dogs that were bred to grip and hold bulls, bears, and other large animals.
