Three days after Jesus died on the cross, Mary Magdeline and the other Mary went to the tomb where Jesus was buried.

They went to put spices on his body to show respect. But when they got there Jesus wasn’t there instead they saw an Angel.

They were terrified, but the Angel said to them “Do not be afraid Jesus isn’t here he has risen from the dead, he went to Galilee.

So the women hurried away from the tomb afraid but happy and ran to tell the disciples.

Since this happened we will live forever with Jesus because he took the responsibility for our sins.
