We enjoy play many instruments !!!!

What will you study?1) You will learn about music from a range of cultures

and historical periods

2) You will learn to play and perform music using a range of musical instruments

3) You will have the opportunity to be a part of a range of co-curricular clubs

4) You will have the opportunity to start one-to-one lessons in an instrument of your choice

Co-CurricularAt Beal High School, there are a range of different music clubs for you to get involved in. If you join a club, you get to perform in the Christmas and Summer concerts!! Which club would

you like to join in September?

Instrumental LessonsAs soon as you become a Beal student, you will be able to sign up for one-to-one instrumental

lessons.

You can learn to play a range of instruments including piano, guitar, drums, violin, trumpet,

clarinet, flute, trombone and many more!

Lessons occur once a week and are 15 minutes long

Competition TimeWe can't wait to meet you all in September. Until then, you can give us some insight into your 'Musical

Identity' by designing a poster which tells about the music YOU enjoy. This poster should include:

1) A title, with the name of an artist or style of music you LOVE

2) Some key facts about your chosen artists or style of music

3) Images or illustrations to accompany your information

4) Lots of colour!

We will choose four winners, whose work will be proudly displayed within every Music classroom at Beal

(there are six!), as well as on the Music department notice boards. Winners will be chosen prior to your

joining us in September, so you won't find out who has won until you join your first lesson!
