THE MURAKAS HOTEL

Otepää has won renown mainly for being the winter capital, as well as the largest winter sports centre in the Baltic countries. However, sporty Otepää is teeming with

life at all times of the year. The scenic surroundings and varied sporting facilities provide activities both the summer and winter seasons. Opportunities for active

The Murakas hotel is logistically situated in a very good location. The building is located at the foot of a hill, from which the Tehvandi Sports Centre is just a stone’s

throw away

The hotel building with a compact layout of the rooms is designed by experienced architects Koit and Tiina Komissarov. The aeroc-block building built in 2007 has

two storeys, as well as a basement floor and an attic. During the extension of 2010, two sauna complexes and a recreation and a seminar room were added, to enjoy a

breakfast outdoors a terrace overlooking the Tehvandi Sports Centre was built

THE HOTEL KITCHEN ENABLES CATERING OF CUSTOMERS

The building’s heating supply is provided by the localised central heating system (oil heating boiler, radiators), it is possible to switch over to the town’s central heating system

in the future. There are two forced-air ventilation systems, an alarm and CCTV system constructed in the building; the heating of the sauna is automatically controlled by a

separate remote control. All rooms have balconies and built-in drying cabinets. There is a toilet for disabled people on the ground floor of the hotel.

A typical visitor of the hotel is an active client with a sporty lifestyle. The Murakas hotel has been actively operating for years and has gained a good reputation and is

acknowledged both among Estonian and foreign clients.
