Volleyball

after the second world war volleyball matches were started to be organized in Kelme. A big number of sportsmen went in for volleyball. In 1954 the first volleyball championship of Kelme area was held and the secondary school of Kelme ( now it is known as Graiciunas Gymnasium) has taken the first place. Kraziai secondary school and Pakrazantis secondary school has taken part in this championship as well

Sport in Kraziai gymnasium

Students of Kraziai gymnasium and the community of Kraziai are keen on sport. The most favourite sport among young people is basketball. Students attend basketball afterschool activity. Boys’ basketball team of Kraziai gymnasium has won the championship of „Husqvarna“ for several times. The best basketball players of our school are: P. Maziliauskas, P. Trakselis, D. Butkus, V. Albrektas, A. Lukosevicius, N. Matula and others.

Students are keen on athletics as well. Athletics’ afterschool activity is attended by the students of 8-11 grades, but athletics is more popular among girls. The team of athletics takes part in various athletic competitions. Kraziai gymnasium has won the first place and has become prizewinner for several times. The best athletes of Kraziai gymnasium are: Z. Juceviciute, R. Slazikaite, E. Gumbakyte, E. Janaviciute, E. Jukneviciute, A. Lukosevicius, A. Kalvaitis and others.
