Erdoğan Tekin

Erdogan Tekin was born in Salihli in 1938. After graduating from Lyceum in Izmir, he won a state scholarship and went to England where he studied metallurgical engineering at Leeds University.

He returned to Turkey after obtaining his PhD and joined the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department at the Middle East Technical University in 1964, where he lectured as professor; now he lectures at Atilim University. In order to satisfy his love of nature, he continues taking photographs of wild flowers in his spare time.
