THE BOAT RIDE
You have two options to select how you will arrive to
Thompson Island:
• Private charter from Long Wharf via Boston Harbor Cruises – Thompson Island will make the arrangements, you just pick the departure time from Long Wharf and Thompson Island. The cost is $20 per person round trip with a minimum of $2,000. Additional trips are subject to prior approval and additional fees.

• Private Thompson Island Ferry – A group under 125 may use the Island ferry that departs from the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in South Boston and costs $20 round trip per person with no minimums.

Thompson Island Receptions All weddings have a $25,000 minimum inclusive of venue, food, beverage, charter boat, tax, fees and gratuity. All weddings require a $2,500 deposit to reserve a date and full payment in advance.

OCEAN BLUFF PAVILION
The larger of our sites offers two tents that overlook Boston’s skyline
framed by lush island trees. Arched entrances, vaulted ceiling, interior/
exterior lighting and inlaid floors make the 40’ x 100’ white tent
impressive for any event with up to 280 people. The smaller 40’ x 70’
Olympic white frame tent with French windowed walls, interior lighting,
tables and chairs is an ideal venue for cocktail hour or dancing.

WATERFRONT LANDING
Panoramic views of the harbor and Boston’s skyline will surely impress
your guests at this charming wooden pavilion with exposed beams,
high open eaves and interior lighting. This unrivalled beachfront setting

THE ISLAND
Thompson Island is a 204-acre nature preserve and Boston Harbor’s only
private island. You and your guests will have access to the groomed nature
trails for self-guided tours and walks on the beach.

Overnight Accommodations
Once the celebration concludes, there are overnight accommodations for you
and your guests to enjoy. Historic brick building dormitories located on our
main campus accommodate up to 50 people each. Linens, blankets, towels and
pillows are provided in each room. Comfortably appointed lounges with leather
sofas and televisions offer the perfect location for post reception gatherings.
Lodging is also available in a stunning five bedroom Colonial that sleeps 11
people and is ideal for pre and post wedding festivities.
SHERBROOKE HOUSE
A stunning five-bedroom Colonial with 1.5 baths, living
room, dining room, kitchen, library, sunroom, and deck is
ideal for a luxury summer escape. Sherbrooke House is
equipped with two beds per room and sleeps 11 guests.

EXECUTIVE SUITE
A quaint two-bedroom apartment with kitchenette, living
room, private bath, and back porch with scenic ocean
views is an impeccable spot for a relaxing island getaway.
