• The industrial revolution started in England in the

year 1750, then it started spreading in other

countries.

• The changes that began in Britain paved

the way for modern industrial societies.

• Transportation was expanded.

• Electricity was effectively harnessed.

• Improvements were made to industrial

processes.

• People started to think and to create

machines and systems that would make

things easier for humans.

• A machine is the devise that comprises of

the stationary parts and moving parts

combined together to generate, transform

or utilize the mechanical energy.

Before

• Few population.

• Less jobs.

• People died young.

• Things were made by

hand.

• People worked in farms.

After

• Population increased.

• Factories.

• Transportation, like the

steam boat.

• More works.

• Things were made by

machines.

• They had to work more hours as rich

people and they got paid less as them.

• They paid other people to do their work, they

didn't paid them the minimum wage and abuse

them, rich people had the rights that poor people

just dreamed of.

• It changes the way people live, it changes all aspects of

life:

At the beginning: lot of people suffering

Later: better quality of life

• Living conditions were miserable and dirty.

• There were no public service: Air, Water pollution,

sickness and diseases.

• Working conditions also miserable:

14 hours a day and 6 days a week.
