Making decisions is no big deal, the trickis managing those decisions from day to day.

It only takes 14 days to stop managing a good decision.

Context• Leadership is the key to implementation

• In our excitement, we left Pastor John to build the barbecue grill with no instructions

• With Trey, the instructions would have fit on an index card

Context• Despite having a great concept and competent leaders, the result was a product that did not look like the original intent

• Without thorough, clearly defined, well thought out parameters, the leader is set up to fail

Organization Chart

Context• Found that, over time, the budget and organizational chart had evolved independently

• Restructured the organization chart and budget to better reflect each other in Fall 2009

Context• The purpose of the System is to implement the Mission• Mission Statement hangs on the wall, Mission is accomplished down the hall• Purpose of the organization structure is to support the system
