John 3:16 has often been called “the heart of the Bible” and “the gospel in miniature.” It especially expresses the true meaning of Christmas—the reason Jesus came into this world. Consider these simple, powerful words:
“For God
so loved
the world,
that he gave
his only
begotten
Son, that
whosoever
believeth in
him should
not perish,
but have
everlasting
life.”
John 3:16
This Christmas receive the greatest Gift there is—a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He will give you forgiveness of sins, joy beyond measure, and eternal life with God in Heaven. To receive the greatest Gift, simply con-fess that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
