Asalamu alaykum,

I have been looking on the web about dreams in an Islamic context for a while now, searching for the

meanings of a few dreams I have had but I haven't been successful in my research in finding a clear

interpretation.

I have been having a number of dreams lately, some with regards to istikhara for marriage and some just

general. Most of these have been occuring during the latter part of the night.

There is one dream in particular I would like to find out the meaning for as real life situations are

bringing into perspective this particular dream I had.

Would it be possible to get the interpretation of this dream?

Jazak allah khair.

Ma Salama,

Naaz.

Asalamu Alaikum,

The dream I had was not a pleasant one but I'm hoping you can interpret it for me?

Also please forgive me if I am not meant to share negative dreams but I really hope you can give me

some response with regards to it.

I need to tell you some background information that has been happening in real life which is why now

this dream sticks out to me and makes me curious to know what it means. I feel like there is a link.

For the past few years, my cousin and her husband have been experiencing some marital problems. Her

husband has turned to alcoholism and he has lost his job, had his driving licence barred and spends a lot

of time outside of the house. He has on a couple of occasions beat his wife and tormented her and their

young children. Family has been heavily involved in the issue and my uncle (my cousins dad) has

contemplated getting them separated because he feels he has had enough as has given his son-in-law

many chances in the past and is angered by his bad deeds.

Only a few weeks ago, my cousin's husband started becoming violent and aggressive again, which

caused massive tension and problems in my family. My mother, father and uncles and aunties are all

worried and upset, and feel like separation is the best thing to do.

ok the DREAM: I had this dream about 2 months before the events that took place about 2 weeks ago.

DREAM: me, my cousin, her children and my mother were sat at my house and my cousin's husband

came in dressed in a black jacket and started saying farewell, he said something along the lines of

'goodbye, i am going, i am not going to come back, this is my last time'. he says goodbye to us all, walks

out of my house and meets a man who he has a small encounter with then gets into a car. He starts

banging the car back and forth in a small distance which damages the car and squashes it slightly. Then

in the dark in another scene he pulls out a gun and pulls the trigger on himself (I believe he kills himself).

Any mistakes in explaining the dream is from me, may Allah swt forgive me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Jazak Allah Khairun,

Naaz.

WA LAIKUM SALAM, NAAZ

WE DON'T KNOW IF THIS DREAM IS GOING TO TURN OUT TO BE TRUE BUT, IF IT IS, IT IS DEFINITELY

TELLING YOU THAT YOUR COUSIN WILL BE FREE OF HER EVIL HUSBAND AND THAT, AFTER HE HAS LEFT,

HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COPE WITH LIFE. IF HE DRINKS ALCOHOL, HE IS HIS OWN WORST ENEMY AND

HIS ALCOHOLISM MAY GET HIM IN TROUBLE WITH OTHERS IN SOCIETY [DAMAGING SOMEONE ELSE'S

CAR] , AS WELL MAKE HIM DO HARM TO HIS OWN HEALTH [TURNING GUN ON HIMSELF]. NO WONDER

ALCOHOL, DRUGS, INTOXICANTS ETC. ARE FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM.

Only a few weeks ago, my cousin's husband

started becoming violent and aggressive again, which caused massive tension and problems in my

family. My mother, father and uncles and aunties are all worried and upset, and feel like separation is

the best thing to do.

ok the DREAM: I had this dream about 2 months before the events that took place about 2 weeks ago.

I look forward to hearing from you.Jazak Allah Khairun,Naaz.

Asalamu alaykum, I have been looking on the web about dreams in an Islamic context for a while now,

searching for the meanings of a few dreams I have had but I haven't been successful in my research in

finding a clear interpretation. I have been having a number of dreams lately, some with regards to

istikhara for marriage and some just general. Most of these have been occuring during the latter part of

the night. There is one dream in particular I would like to find out the meaning for as real life situations

are bringing into perspective this particular dream I had. Would it be possible to get the interpretation

of this dream? Jazak allah khair. Ma Salama,Naaz.

Oh yes I recieved a number of resources including the Quran, Etiquettes of marriage and about Hajj

(these are the ones I can remember from the top of my head) along with others. I haven't yet had a

chance to read them but will do inshaAllah very soon.

Jazak Allah khair for these.
