competence and are not taught at the most german universities
The culture of cultural institutions, the way they think, work and communicate is often not
compatible with the culture of the digital world
Only a small number of cultural institutions in germany and europe started with own social-
media-activities
There are a lot of institutions (and even enterprises) that still do not have free access to the internet and/or are not allowed to become a
part of the Web 2.0
Concerning the digital world most of the cultural institutions are living in the year 2006
