The Cobb School Thanks...

...Ayelet Connell-Giammatteo and Beth Lambert for leading a fascinat-

informative and lively. Thank you!

...all the parents and staff members for participating in our Parent Education Series throughout the year! Your will-ingness to join us for Parent Coffees and share insights and ask questions has made our Parent Education Series a suc-cess. Thank you.

...Andrea Kinsley for taking hundred of pictures for the school. Thank you, thank you! Thank you also to Laura Oliver and Kim Stolworthy for volunteering your photog-raphy skills through the year.

Our annual Recognition Ceremony is our crowning, com-munity-wide event. All Cobb families are invited to attend. This is the time we celebrate our children who have com-pleted a cycle and enjoy time together before we head into our summer holiday. It is a highlight of the year, and we

her at mail@cobbschool.com, call her at 860-658-1144 or stop by to see her in Reception. Children participating must arrive at 9:30am. Doors to the gym open at 9:45am, and the ceremony begins at 10am. The celebration is followed by a light lunch. Girls participating must wear a white dress, white dressy shoes and white socks or tights. Boys participating must wear tan pants, navy blaz-ers, white shirt, tie and leather shoes. If you have any dress code items to donate or if you need a particular item, please look on the swap rack in Reception. The swap rack is currently in desperate need of items your child has outgrown. Please consider donating. The school provides a small corsage or boutonniere for each child who is being recognized and provides headpieces to our 6th year girls.

Cobb School Charms Available for Purchase

Sarah Byrnes Goldsmith at 924 Hopmeadow Street in Sims-bury has partnered with the school to create Cobb School charms that match our acorn and leaf logo. This is a won-derful keepsake gift and perfect for Recognition. Because there are so many options (sterling sil-ver, gold and an array of finishes and uses), the jeweler has asked that orders come directly from parents to the store, instead of through the school. Their telephone number is (860) 658-4438.

If you have any questions regarding Recognition, please ask

to those families with a child completing a cycle!

Exam! Gold, Silver & Bronze! Bravo!
