The Beach

By: Rowand Helmy

I laid there on the golden bed of sand

looking at the striking shade of pink the

Sun had as it embraced the stunning deep.

It was mind clearing and amazingly relaxing

As time passed and as the lonely moon enlightened

My starless sky, I felt my foot itch to go for a walk

As my feet brushed the soft sand,

I closed my eyes and couldn't picture

A place more peaceful or soothing

My mind was so clear it was never soLucid before

As I looked up I saw a mesmerizing group of birds

Forming a V shape, they were so

coordinated, Following the leader at the pointy tip of

the V. This place was so compelling, it was so

inspiring.

Everything fit exactly in its place. The harmony here

Was rare. You never found that where

humans lived, They are all so fake and artificial like

magicians & Illusionists.

Mother Nature didn't allow anyone To ruin anything here at all she

protected this place. I was living some fascinating And enthralling moments Of happiness.

At that point, I started picturing A perfect universe. No wars, no pain, nothing hurtful;

Cure without throbbing & love without heartbreak.

But then as the memory of love crossed my mind.

The waves started hitting harder, like they knew

How I felt, they wanted me to leave and not bring

Any sad memories here, every little sand particle

Had to be ideal.

So I left willingly before I get kicked Out reluctantly, it was one contented

Memory.
