• $20 Dues; 20 Points!

Chapter dues have been set at $20. Your membership supports all club activities and enrichment opportunities; you receive free admission to many events, conferences, discounted events, and programs as part of the membership benefits package. Come to one of our Wednesday meetings or visit us during our office hours to pay your dues with cash or check. You will also receive your free t-shirt (:

Open Positions-Vice President-Secretary

Eligibility: -Active member ($20 and 20 pts)-Freshmen, Transfer, Sophomore, Junior, Senior standing can all

apply!-No previous experience is necessary, but highly recommended

-Note: Assistant Directors not eligible to run

Internal Elections:Monday, February 11th, LSB 412 (seminar room) 9:00-10pm

Vice President- Roles/Responsibilities • a. Be an aide to the president.• b. attend majority of events AMSA-sponsored

events.• c. In case of the absence or disability of the

president, assume the duties of the president.• d. Oversee the coordination of all projects.• e. Maintain AMSA Locker.• f. Make any room reservation as needed.• g. Work closely with former VP in transitioning

Secretary- Roles/Responsibilities • a. Keep a written record of all meetings (general membership

meetings, executive, etc.) In order to provide the chapter with a record of issues discussed, problems posed, ideas raised and of the people who participated in the group discussion for benefit of the chapter and its members.

• b. Recite or summarize the record of minutes for approval by the membership via email and at the beginning of meetings.

• c. Sign in members at general meetings• d. Keep a current list of all active members, both nationally and

locally, listing all events attended.• e. Record minutes to be open to all members.• f. In case of absence, have a substitute appointed that day by any

member of the executive committee.• g. Maintain email account.

Application Process • Email amsaloyola@gmail.com with your name,

year, and position of interest. Once we receive your intent to apply for a position, we invite you to come to the internal elections on 2/11/13 in LSB 412 at 9-10pm to give a 2-3 min speech on why you would like to run for the position!

• We also ask that candidates running will be available at 9-10pm on Monday evenings for our general E-board meetings and at 5-6pm on Wednesdays for our general membership meetings.

• (time commitment varies per position)
