Bellydance for Healing

Bellydance for Healing is a dance class

that combines the ancient movements

of bellydance, with a

variety of healing &

relaxation practices.

Women of all ages,

dance abilities &

backgrounds are en-

couraged to attend..

Each class is an infu-

sion of culture, grace

and femininity. No fancy costume re-

quired and you don’t have to show your

belly. This 6-week series class will be

held at River House, 179 Marine Street,

on Thursdays from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th & April

5th. Cost for the series is $25 for River

House Activity Members and $30 for

non-members.

Join us at River House (179 Marine

bite to eat with award-winning author

and retired CIA Operations Officer T.L.

Williams from 10am-11am. He will be

discussing his book series while you

munch on goodies from our café.

NEW! – Jewelry Beading Class

Want to get in tune with your creative

side? Fulfill the need to be creative by

designing jewelry! Join Shirley Nacey

in making bracelets and necklaces with

unique and intriguing beads to enhance

your style or make a gift for a friend!

We will begin with basic stringing with

beading wire and attaching clasps/

crimps. From there we will advance to

off loom stitching such as peyote,

square stitch, netting, etc. This 4-week

series class will take place on Thurs-

days, March 22, 29, April 5, & 12

from 2:30pm-4pm. Cost is $40 for

Therapeutic Harp Concert

Soothe, heal, and de-stress with a Ther-

apeutic Harp Concert on Tuesday,

March 27, from 11am-12pm at River

House (179 Marine Street). Dr. Diane

Schneider, a professional harpist and

former Mayo Clinic therapist, will per-

form a relaxing concert of beautiful

Celtic, inspirational, and folk melodies,

interspersed with fun and engaging

commentary on harp history and how to

use music for healing. The program

ends with a special "harp therapy ses-

sion" for relaxation and lowering blood

pressure. Her special "recovery CD's"

will be available for purchase. For more
