Present Simple Tense is for

• Repeated events▫ Usually, once a week,..

• Fact that is true for a long period of time▫ Ex. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

• Using with verb of sense▫ Feel, sound, look,.. (5 senses)

Present Simple Tense is for

• Using with “want” “need” “think” “feel” “believe”and stative verbs(no need action)

Present Simple Tense is for

• Occasional using in story telling to make the story is alive.(Story telling should be in past tense )▫ Fiction, TV program about history

Present Simple Tense is for

• If Clause – express fact - Zero A conditional ▫ Ex. If I heat water, it boils.

• If Clause – explain rule, regulation, advice - Zero B conditional▫ Ex. If there is a fire, run!

• If Clause – future possible, event that could happen easily - 1st conditional
