This week we will be revising time.It is an important life skill that can takes lots of practice.

Today you will revise how to tell thetime at o’clock and at half past. Writethe correct times underneath the analogue clocks.

Monday

Now place the hands onto these analogue clocks.

Remember, the long hand is theminute hand and the short handis the hour hand.

Point to where you think the minute hand and hour hand should go if needed.

• On a digital clock, half past the hour is shown as **:30 as there are 30 minutes in half an hour.

• Quarter past is shown as **:15 as there are 15 minutes in quarter of an hour.

• Quarter to on a digital clock is shown as **:45. as there have been 45 minutes since the last hour .
