The Background Situation We Are Addressing Who : StudentsWhat: Students who forget their homework a lotWhen: Every hour (as long as they are not in school in which case there will be a timer to switch it off for a certain amount of time)Where: Anywhere the student in question is ((half) terms included if there is homework, summer holidays not if in secondary/ primary school)Why: Student likely to lose or forget homework
Specific ProblemStudents tend to forget
their homework or lose it more and more which leads to detentions or doing their homework last minute which can
also get them into trouble.
For student version: How can you remember your homework?Parent version: How can you know your child is getting homework?Teacher version: How can you be sure your students are writing in and will remember their homework?
Core Questions:
Students won’t forget their homework because the phone will send reminders about it. Parents can push their child to do homework because the message has told them they have received it. Teachers can send what the homework is to phones. They know then there is no excuse for forgetting homework because they know it has been received.
Key Insights
My team, Anime Eyes, is developing a mobile appto help students, teachers and parents know that there is homework being received It sends reminders of the homework to the phone for students, sending a message to the parent that the homework was given and assure teachers that the student has received the homework because they have sent it to the phones.

This is one of the comments on Google Play Store about one of our competitors, Homework Helper. Danielle B on 9th September 2013:“Its cool! Its cool but I wish there was a calendar with due dates”. Our app will be better because we will have this. In fact, the idea is that reminders (or alarms) are there to help you remember the due date.

Overview of apps core feature and our MVP user storiesThe main core feature of our app is the alarm set to remind the user of our app of their homework. Therefore, from the MVP user stories, students will be able to remember their homework and bring it in on time.
MVP
The three main features that would be kept in our app if it had to be small would be the alarm reminders, the planner and the timetable. This is because these three seem , we feel, to be the most useful features of the app.
These are the three key wireframes of our app (1/3)
This app will be available for all types of smartphones
Homework
Key wireframe (2/3)
These will be sent to the student login by the teacher.
Inappropriate language on help part will be filtered out.
Key wireframe (3/3)
Timetable
This will have to be programmed in by the user.
DATA, Content and Technical FeasibilityData feasibility is whether or not the data is necessary in our app. Our app will be user based in the sense that they will have to type in the information such as timetable and program the reminders. All of this would make it a very useful application.
Business Model
Due to who our target market is with this app, we will be putting this app on the market for free. This will mean that more people are able to afford the app and therefore we will get more users. Our target market will benefit from this as they will be saving money which they probably wouldn’t have to pay for the app.
Core Marketing ActivitiesWe will reach our specific users by advertising on the internet, spreading word about our app around through word of mouth (we don’t have money for big advertising gimmicks) and making sure our app is noticed through the markets where you can download them like Play store and App store. We will also advertise on social network sites.
Creative JourneyWe have talked to experts throughout the months to help us with the creation of the app. That, along with feedback from possible customers, we have selected the best features to make our app unique compared to others.
