Bring the Family. Great riding on the Bylong Valley Way (Denman to Ilford). BYO camping gear and food. Enjoy a campfire, Gymkhana and a communal ‘cook your own’ breakfast on Sunday morning on the electric BBQs. If it rains there is shelter available for cooking and a Hall for sleeping. $10/person. Bylong Public Hall Camping Area is a lovely spot, with historic Church and cemetery, coin operated hot showers. toilets and sheltered BBQs/picnic area. There’s even tennis courts! General store opposite supplies groceries as well as some hot food.

Northern Riders’ Directions

Tamworth riders leave Tamworth at 9.00am. The Northerners will regroup at Maccas Scone by 11.00am. Turn Right at lights (Scone) head out toward the Airport but go straight through the roundabout onto Nandowra Rd. Follow till almost at Muswellbrook, turn right onto Wybong Rd., follow to Sandy Hollow. Turn Left onto Golden Highway then a short distance turn Right onto Bylong Valley Way. Stop for Photos along the way. A good steady comfortable ride should put you at Bylong by 3.00pm.

Sydney & South Coast Riders’ Directions

Sydney & Southern riders can make their way individually or as small groups to meet at Wilberforce Shell Petrol Station by 9.00am, Saturday 18th April. Ride up the Putty Rd to Mount Thorley, swing left onto the Golden Highway (B84), pass through Warkworth & Jerry’s Plains, turn left onto Bylong Valley Way (before Sandy Hollow), enjoy the scenery and stop off for photos etc, if you wish, until you reach Bylong. A good steady comfortable ride should put you at Bylong by 3.00pm. Or just use Google Maps to find your own way there. Bylong Valley Way starts near Denman and goes to Ilford. Bylong is just a General store and campground 71km from Denman. Look for the CMA flags at the gate.
