► NH4+, NO3

-, NO2, PO43--React, SO4 2-, CL2, Br2, I2, Fe 3+, SIO2,

SS► Cu 2+, Cr6+, Fe3+

Hydrological parameters

► Stream Weight (m), Average Depth(m), Max Depth(m),

Average Velocity (m/c), Max Velocity (m/c),► Cross sectional area (km2), Catchment area (m2),

Discharge (m3/c), Stream Length (m) and Slope (%)

Aquatic Insects

►One 1-m2 kick net (600µm) in high current riffles. Sampling continues until at least 200 specimens have been collected. ►A Surber (mesh size 500µm), riffle (lotic erosional) pool (lotic depostional) and bank (riparian plant) habitats.

►3 dip net collections with coarse-mesh nets in low current habitat and under banks. Also can be used to sample the gravel riffle areas where stone-cased trichoptera may be abundant.

Habitat Parameters

►Epifaunal Substrate/ Available cover

►Embeddedness

►Velocity/ Depth Regime

►Sediment Deposition

►Channel Flow Status

►Channel Alteration

►Frequency of Riffles

►Bank Stability / left and right/

►Vegetative Protection / left and right/

►Riparian Buffer Width / left and right/
