This old air conditioner lived a long life, and went out fighting. Community Cooling kept it running for as long as it was reasonable and practical, Now time to upgrade to a new system.

Both the package machine and the air handler were truly ready to be replaced. This old air-conditioning system, that was leaking Freon pretty badly, had over the pastyear leaked water and destroyed the top of the return air Plenum the wood plywood that it was sitting on so we remove the air handler redid the plywood and relined the inside of the return air Plenum a new duckboard

Condensation had damaged the drywall to the point it was no longer sound.

The wood base that supports the entire weight of the air conditioner had gotten wet, was rotted, and needed replacement as well.

We drew up the plans, ordered the equipment and materials, and got to work.

We did the demo and removal of the old air conditioner components and the base, plenum and ducts.

We replaced the return air vent …. It was rotted as well.

New air handler sitting in place with new wood framing, drywall, and ducts.

Filled the compressor with coolant, checked everything to make sure the equipment was functioning properly, and called it a day. A/C cooled like a champ, and the customer was thrilled.
