• Cost of Energy also has to do with cost of nature

• 80% of the wind turbine is recyclable

• Vestas is optimizing the environmental profile of the wind turbines by using Life Cycle Assessment – this is also to the benefit of our customers.

• During production of electricity the turbine does not use any water

• During production of electricity the turbine does not emit CO2

• During its lifetime turbines will save the world from 100,000 tons of CO2 compared to traditional energy production

• Wind turbines will generate far more energy than is used in the entire life cycle, from cradle to grave. The energy balance for Vestas turbines is 6 to 9 months (= carbon neutral)
