Appears to overprice some of its products, which had resulted in unsold inventory valued at RM600-700m despite a reflating property market.

Two of its property projects – Sunway Damansara and Sunway Velocity - are near proposed MRT stations for the Sg Buloh-Kajang line, giving Sunway strong pricing power.

Sunway Global in China is positioned to ride on potential contract flows in China.

Rising interest rates and an economic slowdown would be negative for its property business.

Increasing competitive threats from expanding leisure / property business such as Berjaya or Gentings
