Weather in Romania in June, July and AugustThe weather in Romania in July is hot and sunny all month long. The grass is still green from the odd shower from June, but the sun is hot now and drying out the grass keeping the locals busy cutting the hay by hand every day out in the fields. The weather in August in Romania is hot and sunny, just like July, all month long.
Natural phenomena
The days are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter. Temperature rises, the sun heats up very strongly that some days are hot. Rains are hot and fast, accompanied by thunder, lightning and even or sometimes is storm. Rainbow appears in the sky. In the morning on the plant appears dew.
The life of plants
The forests, the fields, the gardens and the orchards are full of greenery and flowers that develop due to favorable development conditions: heat, sun, light, moisture.

Flowers are a joy no matter the season. In our country the best flowers are garden flowers because summer is the season when you like so much to hang out and see them beautiful colors.

Summer activities in our country
Summer is a waited season in our country because for all people is a break from work. All children are most happiest because they don`t must go to school anymore and they can have time for fun with they friends or family.

People caring for vegetables and flowers in the garden. On the fields the people sickle the grain. They also mow the grass on the hills. Pick up some medicinal plants: chamomile, lime flowers, yarrow, mint.

NATIONAL CELEBRATIONS Children`s
Day -1 June
What do people do?Many schools have special events to celebrate Children’s Day in Romania. Some teachers give out certificates as a way of showing their appreciation for each child on this day.Community events, including art exhibitions displaying children’s work, are held to celebrate Children’s Day.Children’s Day is also promoted through newspapers, blogs, social media, television, and radio journalists in Romania.Some families have special dinners to celebrate Children’s Day at home.
FLAG DAY June 26
What do people do?Romania’s flag is hoisted up near public buildings in many towns and cities throughout the country on Flag Day. Romania’s public authorities and other state institutions organize cultural and educational programs and events devoted to Romanian history. A military ceremony is also usually held in Romania’s capital Bucharest to celebrate National Flag Day. People attending the event include representatives from civilian, military, and religious organizations, as well as war veterans.
NATIONAL ANTHEM DAY29 July
What do people do?Romania’s National Anthem Day is usually celebrated at a public place, such as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Carol Park in Romania’s capital Bucharest. Celebrations include a public ceremony attended by national political and religious leaders, officers serving the armed forces, and war veterans. Official uniforms are worn, the national flag is raised high, and the national anthem is performed on the day.
RELIGIOUS CELEBRATIONS
Pentecost ( Rusalii)
Whit Sunday and Whit Monday are on the 50th and 51st days after the Orthodox Easter Sunday date in Romania.
What do people do?Many Romanians have the day off work and school on Pentecost and on Whit Monday. Many people can see the Căluşarii’s dance, which is a healing and protection ritual against mythical creatures, around the time of Whit Sunday. Many churches hold special services to celebrate Pentecost.
Sanzienele
On June 24, people from Romania celebrate "The Sanziene Fest" (or "Dragaica's Fest") the only pagan holiday which was accepted by the Orthodox. The fest marks the begging of summer (on 21 June is the summer solstice) and celebrates beauty, love and fertility.
St. Mary’s Day15 August
St Mary is the patron saint of the Navy, so the holiday corresponds with the Day of the Romanian Naval Forces, also known as Navy Day. Events, such as demonstrative shows featuring navy ships, are held in port cities and often attract thousands of visitors on August 15.
