Programs Freezing?

Try the Three R’s!

REFRESH

If a website is not acting the way you want it to, try refreshing first.

Internet Explorer Chrome

RELOAD

If a program is frozen or not responding, try closing the program. Right click on the program’s on the task bar and click “Close Window.”

If the program does not close, FORCE QUIT the application by following these steps:

Right click on the taskbar.

Click “Task Manager.”

Select the program you want to close and click “End Task.”

REBOOT

If the computer is not responding, click the Power button on the task bar.

Select Restart.

Trouble Logging On?

Password Problems?Retype your username and password. Check letters than might actually be other

letters or numbers: 0 and O, I, L, and 1…Check capitalization.Make sure there are no spaces before or

after the username or password.Try typing the password in the username

field so you can see if you are typing it correctly.

No Log On Servers Error “There are currently no logon servers

available to service the logon request.” This means the computer is having trouble

finding the wireless network. Wait a minute and try again.

Swipe to the left. Click

Check the wireless icon . If it looks like this , click it, choose BCPS-

SECURE and enter your username and password.

No Internet Connection Swipe to the left. Click Then select the wi-fi icon ( ) and

check to make sure that you are connected to the BCPS network.
