We are looking for some students to join the prom planning committee. The prom will
take place here at Woodhouse on Friday 26 June 2020. Please come to a meeting at
12.30pm on Monday 20 January in the conference room if you would like to help make

UPTREE Employability Workshop
Talk - Degrees at the CEU
Gain an American degree in Vienna, taught in English. Pay 5,000 euros per year in tuition
fees with a 2020 bursary. CEU delivers these degree programmes:
Philosophy Politics and Economics - Students can do an interdisciplinary BA thesis
or Capstone project, and take courses outside of PPE.
Culture Politics and Society - Major in one of the following: sociology, political
science, international relations, environmental sciences, gender studies or history.

Sutton Trust UK Summer Schools
The Sutton Trust offers free week-long residential summer schools at 13 universities
around the UK. You can choose from over 40 courses to study while living on campus and
attending lectures. Get a taste of university-level academics while participating in fun
activities with students like you from around the UK. This is a great opportunity for you to
explore a course or a university during your summer break. You are 4x more likely to be
offered a space at a Russell Group university after attending their programme.
“I was so worried about not fitting in, or not being the stereotypical person who applies to
university. However, as soon as I arrived at the train station my worries flooded away! I
found so many people exactly like me, from similar backgrounds.”
