How do people feel about street violence

People feel very scared and they feel like they don’t have safety in there community.

How not to be scared of street violence

For you not to be scared of street violence or to prevent street violence you can move to a safe community that does not have street violence.

What are the physical effects of violence

It can be sort- of life or a person can be disable also a person can be scarred for a long time.

What age do you have to be to be assault

Yong men between the ages of 18 and 24 are most vulnerable to assault but children and young people under the age of 18 are increasingly at risk.

Where do people get assaulted

People get assaulted while walking, jogging and looking for keys at their own front door, on buses, in shops, in fact, in any public space.

Ways to minimize the risk The risk of being assaulted or robbed on

the street is actually quite low, but it is impossible to eliminate that risk altogether. Many victims could not have foreseen or avoided the circumstance that led to their attack, but there are some ways to reduce the risk of being targeted like:

First reason of minimize risk is Try to keep to main roads and to avoid

walking alone in darkness especially if you have been drinking or don’t have shoes that you fine difficult to walk or run on.

Second reason Use black cabs or minicab companies

that you trust, and never accept a lift from anyone offering to pick you up on the streets.

Third and last reason If you think you are being followed. Try to

fine a shop or other crowed area, or tell another passer by of your fear and ask them to remain talking to some where safe.

Consequences For the conviction of assault and battery

may potentially include: * Imprisonment * Probation * Anger management class * Significant fines * Loss of the right to own a deadly

weapon
