Status of Torino-Dubna Production

Aluminum Plates production:

• Torino: steady production ongoing, 2715 plates cut, 194 chambers=48MB1 +54MB2+50MB3+41MB4).

• Dubna: steady production ongoing. Plates for 34 MB1, 40 MB2, 39 MB3, 3 MB4 produced insofar (116 total). Time estimated to complete full production + spares march 2005 (as specified in the contract).

Position Quality of strip production:stable since change of strip deposition head in august 2002.

Last plate of the day left under HV test during the night, 10 hours. No extra bad plates found so far.
