Stars are very bright. Did you know the sun is a star? The sun is the biggest part of our solar system. At night time if you look up at the sky and it is a clear night you can see different kinds of shapes with the stars.

The galaxy is the second biggest thing in the universe. A galaxy holds solar systems and planets.

The solar system is the next smallest thing after the galaxy. Our solar system holds lots of planets and dwarf planets.

A spacecraft is some thing that flies and gets around faster. Some people called astronauts fly in them . Some people go up into space where there is no gravity.

Electricity is the thing that powers our earth and the thing that lets us watch TV and play games and have fun. Benjamin Franklin is the one who discovered electricity by going out on a rainy day when it was flashing lightning from the sky. He put a key on a kite and put it in the sky and the electricity from the sky zapped it.

The constitution is a piece of paper that signed. The constitution was re-written so many times. It is a paper with all of the rules on it.

John Cabot was a French explorer. He tried to find new routes to China and other continents like Asia. John Cabot has a river named after him.

Thomas Jefferson is very important to our country. He was very important because he was once one of our presidents long ago. He led the Revolutionary War.

A magnifying lens helps us see objects bigger than they really are but the light needs to reflect for the magnifying lens to magnify. A 10 times lens is more curved than a 5 times lens. The magnifying lens is usually convex or transparent the five senses are smell, hear, taste, touch and sight.

Magnetism is were you can stick to thing together and it is hard to pull them apart. And there is one side that you can not push together.
