Standards Builder Information

Editing Standards Builder• In order to

create/edit standards the information has to be done from a specific computer with Standards Builder application

• Standards can then be sent out to entire District– Select subject

area– Select grade

level

• Short name• Long Name

Assign a Skill

• Assign a specific skill/standard for the Lesson Plan

Send Information to GradeQuick

• By selecting the Send to GradeQuick icon all information entered and edited at the district level is now available to all grade books

Select Specific Grade(s)

• Select only the courses you want to send to Grade Quick

Sending the Information

• Select start to begin

• Select close when finished

Opening Grade Books

• After an export has been completed, the first time you open a grade book an application box will appear to ask you which Standards you want to be Imported

• Highlight the appropriate Standards—select ok

Adding Information to a Lesson Plan

• Select the Lesson Planner icon in the specific grade book

Lesson Plan Editor

• Lesson plans created in individual teacher’s book are in black

• Lesson plans created in district planner are in red

Adding Information to Lesson Plan

• A teacher may add anything to the lesson plan, but the information will only stay in his/her grade book– it can not be exported to the District Lesson Planner

Creating an Assignment Column

• As you define the method of evaluation, if you select the “Add a Assignment..” then an assignment column will automatically be added in your grade book.

• Enter the needed information and select ok and the column will be added in the grade book

• Once the assignment column has been added, the students scores can be added. A teacher could enter all the assignment columns each time/he she creates a lesson plan
