What do we do?

Abby’s House

•  Located at 52 High Street in Worcester, MA

•  Provides:

•  Emergency shelter

•  Long term affordable housing for homeless, battered and low income women and children

•  Share a lunch time meal with the residents and staff the last Thursday of the month

Dismas House

•  Located at 30 Richards Street in Worcester, MA Program for re-entry of incarcerated men Provide temporary housing and a supportive community to help them transition into society Provide and share a meal with residents the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month

Friendly House

•  Located at 87 Elm Street Worcester, MA Provides emergency shelter and transitional housing for 15 homeless families A drop off meal the 3rd Sunday each month

Jeremiah's Inn

•  Located at 1059 Main Street in Worcester, MA A transitional shelter for 30 homeless men recovering from substance abuse Provide and share an evening meal with residents the 3rd Thursday every month

Visitation House

•  Located at 119 Endicott Street in Worcester, MA House that welcomes women with crisis pregnancies Provides material, emotional, and spiritual assistance in a Christian home Provide and share a dinner with the women and staff

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)

•  Located at 91 June Street in Worcester, MA

•  Nationwide effort to provide temporary housing to homeless families

Families are provided a minimum of 6 weeks shelter at the network's home at June St Provide supper hosts and overnight coverage 1 week each year in August

Grafton Community Harvest Project

Located at 37 Wheeler Road in North Grafton, MA A working farm and orchard providing fresh vegetables and fruits to the Worcester Food Bank, as well as education programs

Help in the workings of the farm from April to October

(The orchard is located at Prospect Hill Farm in Harvard, MA)

Market Sunday

•  Takes place at St. Mary’s Church We collect food and household products that are sorted and bagged for families to pick up Sorting takes place the first Sunday each month Food collection accepted throughout the month
