InspirationConceptual Art :

Conceptual art is art in which the concept(s) or idea(s) involved in the work take precedence over traditional aesthetic and material concerns. Many of the works, sometimes called installations, of the artist Sol LeWitt may be constructed by anyone simply by following a set of written instructions. This method was fundamental to LeWitt's definition of Conceptual art, one of the first to appear in print:

“ In conceptual art the idea or concept is the most important aspect of the work. When an artist uses a conceptual form of art, it means that all of the planning and decisions are made beforehand and the execution is a perfunctory affair. The idea becomes a machine that makes the art. ”

Nature's resources! Exploring the relationship between the urban and the natural landscape. Merging the industrial and the handcrafted techniques. Nature is dealt with under a man-made aspect, caring for the best components. Materials are natural or derivates from natural sources refined by using the best of industrial techniques in order to save the human dimension. Patterns - or the supreme of nature's structures - are handcrafted repetitions, embracing the small imperfections, adding life to expressions. Fashion impact! It's all about color, dye, tint, hue...Decorations are complex: caliper drawings neatly colored or animated colored paintings. The curios clash of tapestry and techno. Color TrendA hymn to spring! Fancy and lively decorations. We reconnect to brilliant brights. The fabric's structure or jaquard-design braid into the print, to make the atmosphere richer, more sparkling and passionate.

Coatings, pigment printing, abrasion, slashing, embellishments - whatever evokes dynamic force adding a slightly rough itch.

Naturally bright pigments develop into new classics. Fabrics are classic, materials the same but all elements are somewhat twisted: fibers in unusual yarn-spinning and -counts, classical weave patterns in atypical materials clashed with a curious checkered design, an embroidery where you didn't expect it - nothing loud, just enough to make you startle.

Fabrics are slick drapery like butter or water, ghostly veiled like mist or air. Materials are expressing the beauty of energy, the comfort of floating coolness. The appearance is IN the fabric not on top of it.
