1- GeneralThis procedure applies to field erection work of 1047 m3 spherical tanksTK-3710 NBICID at ILAM GAS TREATING PLANT.All field erection shall be performed strictly in accordance with the drawingsapproved by the owner.

2- FoundationBefore erection work of tanks, Foundation shall be checked by the tank builderin accordance with field in specific manual. lf there were some obstracles ontank erection, such foundation should be repaired by foundation constructor.

3- Erection

3.1-The erection sequence shall be as follows:- Lower part of columns on the foundations.- Equator plates with upper columns.- Intermediate equator plates.- Bottom crown plates.- Top crown plates.

3.2-Prior to the erection of column, the level of foundation shall be adjustedto the specified level with shim plate. The clearance between foundationand column base shall be concreted before the hvdrostatic test.

3.3-Erection of lower columns.During erection of lower column, level and plumpness shall be checked.(note: The reference point shall be marked before erection, thispoint shall be determined from top of column.(FlG. 1)

3.4-Allowable tolerance of plumpness and level of each columns is asfollowing:

Plumpness : H/500 mm(Plus/Minus)Level : 3 mm(Plus/Minus)

3.5-Erection of equator plate with upper column.- Prior to the equator plate erection, erection tools must be installed. And

then staging shall be installed on the equator plates.typical layout is shown in FIG.2, but shape, number & location oferection tools may be changed if necessary.

- Two plates with upper column (Marked A) shall be erected.- The intermediate plate without upper column (Marked B) shall be erected.- Follow the same procedure for the remaining equalor plates.- After erection of the eouator olates inside diameter "D" shall be checked.

the out of roundness shall not exceed 1% of the nominal diameter shownin drawing (FlG. 3).

3.6-Erection of bottom and top crown plates.- Each bottom and top crowns consist of seven plates.- the adjacent plates (marked C) shall be assembled prior to 3 remaining plates.- the plates (marked D) shall be assembled prior to erection of center plate.
