► The London Wireless Club was formed in July 1913

► 23 September 1913 it changed its name to Wireless Society of London

► By the end of 1914 the Society had 212 members, 31 associate members and 2 foreign members

► 1st August 1914 outbreak of World War 1

► Government took possession of ‘all stations established by the Licensees for working with telegraphy’

► Our experimentation was halted, but the Society kept going

► Licences were reissued in July 1919
