Winter is around the corner and that means the snowy roads would whip your car back & forth without the winter tires.

Most of the people sticks to their AWD, ABS etc. as they believe that will give a better control in all weathers. But actually they

don't.

the passengers in risk and gives an expensive bill eventually.

So let's know more about the winter tire myths :-

Winter tires are only for snow :-

Winter tires are more expensive :-

Though the winter tires are a little pricier but it gives as longevity to use that is not available in other tires.

Anti-lock Brakes (ABS)

Though the ABS helps in keeping the traction on slippery road but when it's cold and snowy, the system don't have much grip

to work on the wet and slippery intersections.

All season tires can be used in all 4 seasons, but when it comes to winter the tires are no longer carries the grip and traction

that cloud fight the wet surface.

I have All-season tires :-

The all seasoned tires lose the tread

and the grip all over years, that make

them more risky in winter.

Under inflated tires are not the ultimate choice for any season, but it does help sometime to get along with road.

Under inflated tires for winter :-

Though the under-inflated tire gives a flattening area to make a contact with road, but it is dangerous on slippery or snowy

road.

The rear wheel vehicles are the best choice for winter and snowy road, but it always depends on the hands of a driver as

how properly he is handling it.

Rear wheel drive in snow :-

Vehicle brake is helpful to stop the vehicle in all weathers. But when the surface is wet and slick, then it will take time to stop

and stopping distance will be high.

Though the commuting road is not snowy when you travel to office or other work, but the tires when face rigid temperature

change, it will become harden and lessen the grip.

My roads are not snowy :-
